I am a thinker. I enjoy philosophical banter and see it as a chance to expand and even change my views. I am sarcastic but cannot seem to convey that through this blog; thus, funny posts are not too common. My words are my media of choice. They allow me to paint pictures and feelings of things I wish to convey.
My passion for writing began as a young girl but died as I tried to write what my teachers wanted to hear. It wasn’t rekindled until I was a junior in college. My major required that I research and write in almost every class and soon my wonderful husband and amazing professors convinced me of my talent. The inception of this blog came as and idea to transform my academic writing into something more. And, it just so happened that I needed to find a place to alleviate the anxiety and loneliness that comes from being the wife of a pre-med student.
I have been married to my husband for almost three years. During our almost three year marriage we have managed to pop two children out: Emily and Andrew. My husband is currently finishing his undergrad and in the middle of applying to medical school.
Blogging has become something more to me than writing a few posts here and there. It has become my community.
Join me as I try and capture the precious moments through my journey as a student’s wife, a crazy mother, and an aspiring writer.
